Our oldest son David is in Haiti for a couple of months. He emailed me today to tell me the kids there just love him! I’m just going to paste what he sent from his email:
These kids here love me! They keep calling me their best friend! They also keep asking me for a dollar and I told them they have to earn it so I bought them a shoe shine kit and they shine peoples’ shoes! They love it and one kid (Alex) told me he made ten dollars, and in a week I saw him with a cell phone! LOL

A lot of people ask if there is a time limit after someone passes that they can contact us for a reading. The answer is NO! I’ve read so many books by other mediums and heard them speak on the radio about having to wait for a year or two. That is simply not true. I don’t understand why some mediums make rules for spirits when there are no rules in heaven! Think about it, we can do whatever we want in the spirit world and there is no time there, so why would we make a time limit for them? I just don’t get it. This past weekend I did a reading for a man who’s wife passed only 2 weeks ago. The next day I did a reading for a lady who’s friend passed one week ago! Granted, these early spirits might not have the hang of slowing their energy down properly to communicate, but they certainly try their best. Usually someone else will be with them to show them the ropes. The lady who had only passed a week ago I feel had that problem. She kept draining her friend’s phone battery. LOL We did get 40 minutes into the reading though, and that was enough for her to know that her friend was ok and still around. We just went on to other things for the rest of the reading without interruption from her phone battery.
Just remember, if your spirit is too busy, no matter how long they have been crossed over, they won’t show up. It doesn’t happen very often at all, but it does happen. It doesn’t mean they are not ok or in a bad place. Absolutely not! They just can’t do it at that time for some reason. Like I said, it’s very rare. So…if you ever read about psychic mediums placing rules and time limits on spirit communication, pay no attention, it is simply not true. If it were true I must belong on the funny farm because I am hallucinating. LOL I just had to get on my soap box about this. I hate it when people are misinformed. 
I’d like to address a problem that 99% of people have who have ever been abused. I would like to tell you that NO ONE is better than you! Please don’t ever allow other people to talk down to you, or talk to other people as if you are less than them or don’t measure up. When you feel this way and allow this behavior from others, you only attract more people who will use you, abuse you, emotionally and possibly even physically. If you feel like this is how you “deserve” to be treated and allow it, then the Universe believes this is what you want in your life. Then you get more losers who like to “beat up” on “the weak ones” to make themselves feel bigger. You must stop this cycle – please!! You have a sweet, loving spirit inside you who deserves to receive and give love and be treated fairly. If you have to, look in the mirror everyday and say, “I love you.” That seems like a hard thing to do doesn’t it? You have to love yourself if you want to attract love into your life. When you truly do that your whole life will change. If that’s too hard, imagine the spirit in you as that little girl or little boy who was beat up, demeaned, made to feel like a piece of dirt. What do you want to do with that little child in you? Protect her, love her, hug her, tell her everything will be ok? Yes! Do that and you’re on your way to healing. It doesn’t matter if you think of your spirit as a little child; just love it like you love your own child. Heal that little child in you and you will heal yourself. You deserve abundance in every area of your life. If you are struggling with finances, ask yourself why. What little voice inside of you tells you that you can’t have money? Why? Were you told you’d never amount to nothing? Is that how you feel about yourself? Do you talk to yourself like that? If you want abundance in your life (in every area!) change your thinking and the way you talk to yourself. When you hear something negative come out of your mouth, change it to something positive. If you usually say, “I can’t ever get ahead”, change that to “I make ends meet and have money leftover!” Or say, “I deserve a partner who loves me and appreciates all the good qualities I have”. Change the thoughts you have too, they’re the same as saying it out loud. Really focus on your thoughts throughout the day and you’ll see how many negative thoughts you really have. Believe me, I know! Then work on changing them. Cancel them out with a positive thought about yourself.
As a psychic, I do readings for so many people who have lack in their lives or major relationship problems. I can tell right away when someone has been abused; it’s so obvious to me. A lot of people like this just don’t want to change things; they worry more about what other people will think if they leave the loser (yet again) or if they move away from a parent (usually their first abuser!) that parent might get upset with them….blah, blah, blah. So what?? Who cares what other people think!? This is YOUR life and no one has the right to control you in any way. When you begin to focus on YOU and what will make YOU happy, things will start to change. That parent won’t be far enough away that you can’t call or visit once in a while. Hey, just might be a very good thing!  Sometimes a fresh start, new place, new job, etc is wonderful for you. What is holding you back? You deserve to earn money, you deserve a good partner who you truly love and who loves you back, you deserve good health. If you are in a situation like this, please, please think about changing your mind.

Today is my brother Brian’s birthday. He would be 34 years old today. It’s always a bittersweet day for me when his birthday rolls around, wondering what he might be like if he was still here; would he be married, have children, what would he be doing, etc. -But then, he doesn’t have to worry about any of life’s problems anymore like the rest of us do! He’s free and happy! Brian visits, and I can feel his spirit near me as I type this post. It’s a wonderful feeling, yet makes me want to cry at the same time. So, now Brian has two birthdays; today, and December 25, the day he was “reborn” into heaven. Happy Birthday Brian! I love you.

This weekend our youngest son left to go to Korea for a year. It was a sad weekend here. I miss him already! Our oldest son David is getting married this year, so hopefully Jared will be able to come home mid-tour for a visit. Jared was in Korea about a year and a half ago for a year also, and he liked it, so he was looking forward to going. Jared is a fire truck diesel mechanic, and a darn good one. When Jared is finished with his tour in Korea he will be moving to Aviano, Italy for 3 1/2 years! It’s so hard to have either of our boys so far away. As long as they’re in the states where I can get to them quickly if I need to, I’m fine. Ah well, Italy here we come! I’m sure Jared will have lots of visitors in Italy! We were stationed in Naples, Italy when the boys were 3 and 5 years old for 3 years. We weren’t able to travel much then, but we sure will when we go to visit Jared!

I received a question in my email. I thought it would help others to post the question and my answer!
This is odd for me to write, but for some reason your name drew me to you from a long list of names. In reading the information on your site, I have a question. You refer several times to “past lives or future lives”. How do you know some have had a past life or going to have another life. Are souls/spirits recycled so to speak? If you have a loved one pass on I thought their soul/spirit would be forever in heaven and would see them one day. It would be disheartening to think they are gone to be someone else because it’s certainly not their bodies that get a new life. What are your thoughts on this?
This is going to sound really weird, but just go with it ok? LOL When we are spirit, we are energy. We can be in numerous places at one time. Think about electricity. We can’t see it, but we know it’s in our home, the neighbors’ homes, restaurants, etc. We leave a part of “us” in heaven, which we call our “higher self”. You will always be able to see your loved ones when you pass too, even if they have returned to a body. Our “higher self” knows why we came to earth, what lessons we chose in this life and helps us, similar to a spirit guide. We forget why we came here, but our spirit/soul never forgets. Most of us have been reincarnated hundreds of times. We’ve all been very bad people too! If someone hasn’t been incarnated very many times, they are usually not so great people, not very evolved or enlightened. I feel that when we become as evolved and enlightened as someone like Jesus, we won’t feel the need to return to a body. Even if we’ve had a hard life and think, “Holy cow! I’m not doing this again!”; when we get back to heaven, see what we’ve learned and what we still want to learn, we come back. It’s kind of like us having a baby. We forget the pain and have another one! I hope this helps. I know it can be a bit confusing. There is a book called “Journey of Souls” by Michael Newton you might like to read. October 28, 2007 I was interviewed by and did a reading for JoAnn Livingston, the editor of the “Waxahachie Daily Light” newspaper. She wrote the interview, so basically it’s what is on my website anyway, so I’m not posting it here, but….there is a “letter to the editor” that they printed in the paper that I would like to share. I wanted to further validate Beth Berry’s amazing abilities for you. I am a client and have since come to love Beth as a dear friend during the past year since my reading with her. I have spent a lot of my adult life searching for spiritual answers, away from the conventional Christian methods. The minute you begin a journey of that sort you are pulled toward psychics and the awe inspiring abilities they have to help us all find peace in the loss of a loved one. Beth is like a beacon of light. The moment she began reading me I knew she was so pure and so true. She hit every aspect of my reading spot on, every detail correct. It isn’t very often in this life that we meet genuine people. Most of us are out to make a dime at whatever cost. Yes, this is her “business;” however, Beth would forego her compensation if the reading didn’t go well … no matter the time and energy put into it. Reading for someone isn’t just the hour that you’re with her. It takes time to steady her mind and get focused on you and you alone before she sits with you. She is so special to me and to so many others. Beth’s energy manifests from God’s infinite love and everything that comes through her is a gift straight from God. Nothing on this plane or the next would exist without God’s love for us and what a unique and wonderful gift he has given her to allow us a glimpse into our afterlife by bringing a touch of our loved ones back to us … even for a moment or two.

Recently I got 2 phone calls within one day of each other from ladies who had been to psychics. The first lady who I will call Muffin had gotten a reading from me recently. She got a reading at a festival in town with her friend, who received a reading from the psychic’s daughter. The psychic told her a few accurate things, then proceeded to tell her she had negativity around her. Muffin called me to ask me if I had sensed this around her also. Obviously the news scared and worried her. I told her no, if I had sensed that, and if her guides or loved ones thought it was important for her to know, they would have given me that information to pass along. I asked her about the psychic, if she felt she was authentic or not and Muffin said yes, she knew some things that were going on in her life. I then asked her if she wanted her to come back again for another reading to see if the negativity was gone or if she wanted more money to remove the negativity. She said the psychic asked for $25 more to pray for the negativity to go away. Muffin gave her the money.
The next phone call was from a lady in another state who was desperate. She finally figured out that the psychic she had been in contact with for months was a fraud and liar, and took a lot of money from “Joan”. The “psychic” of course told her things that made sense, then told her she could help her get her husband back. Of course this involved putting a box with dirt and other items under Joan’s bed, rituals, and lots and lots of money. The psychic told her that next month she would give Joan her money back, that she really didn’t need it because she did readings for the stars in Hollywood. Almost $2000 later Joan called the psychic and her phone had been disconnected. Joan cannot find her to get her money back. Did Joan get her husband back? HECK NO!
There are greedy psychics who use their abilities to place fear in you. Once they have scared you, they pounce. All they want is more money. I want to tell you something. I’ve seen on the internet and in magazines where psychics promise to return your lover to you, promise to cast spells to get you a job, etc. Guess what? They CAN’T! They cannot do that! No one can make a person do something against their own will. No one can “bring” anything to you except for you! You are the only one who can create things in your life, such as a job or boyfriend or husband. If your husband or boyfriend has left, think about it; do you really want someone back who doesn’t want to be with you? I know it hurts, but when someone or something is not good for us and we keep ignoring this, the universe has a way of removing them or it from our lives. You know why? Because there is someone better waiting to come along!
What I’m really trying to say is if a psychics lures you in to calling them because they promise you something, please know that they are only going to get you to keep calling them so they can get more of your money. If you go to a psychic and they say anything that scares you, run! Run as fast as you can because you know what is coming next! They will want more money to remove a curse or negativity or bad aura…you get my drift. Fear is not of God, just remember that. Fear is the opposite of love, so if a psychic puts fear in you, she is not of love.
I wish I could warn so many people that the fraudulent psychics have to stop what they are doing because they’re not getting any business! It’s such a shame for them to take advantage of people and take the money most of the people can’t afford to give. For those of you who have been to people like this, I’m so sorry, and please know that there are some good ones who truly want to help you. Just follow your gut instinct and you will find the one who is right for you.
