I was invited to Knoxville, Tennessee to do psychic and spirit readings for a young lady’s bachelorette party. I had met her a little over 2 years ago when I went to Knoxville for an Intuitive Showcase (psychic fair). Courtney called me a few weeks ago and told me I had read for her at the intuitive showcase and that I had brought messages through from her passed grandmother that day. She told me she is getting married and asked if I would be willing to come to Knoxville to read for her and a few of her closest friends. I was so excited! I absolutely loved the energy of Knoxville when I was there a couple of years ago and couldn’t wait to go back! Tennessee feels so familiar to me even though I had never been there before the intuitive showcase! My husband Dave went with me. He was my driver. We left Saturday morning, drove for 6 hours, checked into our hotel, rested for a couple of hours before going to Courtney’s home. I felt very comfortable and so honored to be there.
We all sat around her family room in a group setting. I took my shoes off, put my feet up and explained to Courtney’s friends what to expect, then got going reading! There were a few times when the girls would chat and tell a story about something that made me laugh so hard! I’m sure they thought I was a nut! Courtney made a few snacks and we all had a little wine. I felt like I was sitting in her home with a group of girlfriends I had known for ages. Everyone was so sweet and open which made my job that much easier. There were 2 or 3 of her friends who couldn’t make it that night which didn’t surprise me at all. Things happen for a reason!
Knoxville was absolutely gorgeous. The weather was beautiful, the area is so clean and new feeling as if the people there really take care of and love the place they live. I didn’t want to come back to Georgia! On the way home yesterday, as soon as we hit Georgia we could feel the change in energy. I asked Dave if he could feel it too and he could. For the time being Georgia is where we are meant to be and when the timing is right, spirit will guide us to the place we are meant to stay forever.
What a summer! It’s been an eventful summer for my family and I this year! Summer is almost over, and I have to admit, I’m ready for cooler weather! Georgia heat and humidity can be brutal. I am hoping it will cool off here by October!
The first thing this year for us was our son Jared moving back to Korea for a year. I hated to see him go so far away. It always rips my heart out when either of the boys are far away from home. But, the good thing is, David and Hensley got married this month and Jared flew home from Korea to be David’s best man in the wedding! Dave and I flew to Arizona for the wedding. When Jared volunteered to go to Korea for a year he was allowed a “follow on assignment” of his choice. He chose Italy. He has orders for Aviano, Italy and will be there next April. The funniest thing is that David called us yesterday to let us know he has an assignment to Aviano also! Guess when he has to be there? April! I’m so happy our boys and Hensley will all be together and Dave and I can visit them all at the same time! We better get on the ball getting our passports renewed!
I had a successful surgery in June although it was very frustrating not being able to do anything for 6 to 8 weeks! I put on 6 pounds, which equates to about 15 pounds to an average height lady! LOL I’m only 5’3″, so any excess weight shows up quick! I’m working on losing it now that I can work out and lift more than 10 pounds.
I already mentioned our oldest son David getting married, but would like to say that I just adore his wife Hensley. I truly love her as any mom would love a daughter and I am so happy to have her in our family. We had a great time visiting with them.
A week or so before the wedding I came in touch with my half sister Robin who lives in Phoenix. We hadn’t seen each other or even talked for about 20 years! Our family is a bit messed up to say the least so I won’t even try to explain! LOL Robin was born the same year my brother Brian was born, so I am 12 years older than Robin. The last time I saw her she was so young. Robin came to David’s wedding and spent the weekend with us. We had a wonderful time catching up, laughing and getting to know each other. Looking into her eyes is like looking at our grandmother who passed in 2001. We are keeping in touch now, and Robin, my other sister Deb and I are planning to get together early next year! Deb has never met Robin since she was just a baby when our parents divorced. I can’t wait for us all to get together!
Two years ago, in 2008 I went to Knoxville, TN for an Intuitive Showcase. (Psychic fair) While I was there I did a reading for a young lady named Courtney. She called me a couple of weeks ago asking me if I would be willing to drive to Knoxville to do readings during her bachelorette party! She’s just having a few of her closest friends there. I’m honored to be asked to be involved in such a special occasion. Dave and I will drive up there and spend the night and come home the next day since it’s about a 4 or 5 hour drive. The drive from Georgia to Tennessee is so beautiful! When I drove up to Tennessee in 2008 I got so many signs from spirit letting me know they were with me! I can’t wait to see what they do this trip!

“One way to be unhappy is to not like the person you are with, this includes yourself. If you are alone and unhappy then think, what it is about the person that you are with that you do not like? Remember that being with yourself is a lifelong relationship and only you can change the way you view it. Love yourself as we do, accept as we do. Do not judge yourself and release unwarranted abuse and self-criticism. Just as you would most of the other people in your life, give yourself a second, third or tenth chance. You deserve it, even if only for the reason that you are a loved child of God.”
Recently I spoke with a dear friend who has been trying to lose weight for quite a while. She told me about a 3 day diet that she began that doctors give to heart patients who are having surgery but need to drop a few pounds first. You do this diet for 3 days out of the week for however long you want to lose weight. I did this diet in 1988 and lost 15 pounds in 3 weeks. It was incredible. I’ve been trying to lose some weight that I’ve gained since my surgery and had totally forgotten about this diet until Mary mentioned it to me again. Well Mary lost 5 pounds in the first 3 days. I asked her if she is going to do it again next week and she said she didn’t know. I couldn’t comprehend that answer because we’d been talking for ages about losing weight, working out, etc. and this finally worked!
Sometimes people don’t really feel that they deserve something that they keep saying the want. You have to really believe you deserve whatever it is you want in your life to receive it. We are all guilty of somehow sabotaging ourselves when we say we want something but either really don’t, or don’t believe we should have it. Maybe you wish you had more clients for your business, but then there are days where you think to yourself, “Gosh, I sure wish I could have a few days off next week”, or “I’d really like a good man in my life”, but then you keep saying, “I attract all the losers, that must be what I deserve, I can never find a good man!” Or, maybe like Mary you really want to lose weight and get fit and healthy, but inside you may not feel attractive so you try diet after diet, work out after work out program, drop a few pounds then decide not to keep doing it no matter how easy it is.
To receive we must be in alignment with the universe. The doubts and negative self talk we do is not in alignment with the universe. God is pure, loving, positive energy and that is where we must be to receive what we desire. The more you think about something, the more emotion you put into those thoughts, the quicker it will come! Good or bad, whatever it is you focus on the universe will deliver. Pay attention to those thoughts! Change the negative into positive thoughts as soon as you notice! Get excited about what you are asking for. Feel what it feels like to have it! Then be grateful for everything you have in your life. The more grateful you are the more God gives.
It’s been an eventful summer so far! I do hope everyone had a wonderful, relaxing and enjoyable holiday weekend. My husband and I spent most of our time at our friend Claude’s house where we swam and bbq’d. We had a wonderful time, the weather was absolutely amazing! The normal humidity for GA was so low and the temps were in the high 80′s. Gorgeous weather!
My father’s birthday was July 4th. I always say Happy Birthday to the people I love in spirit, so that was his day. He always used to have a birthday party in combination with the July 4th celebrations. I’d go visit him in the summers and was usually there for the occasion. I know he and his family and friends were celebrating the day along with all of us here.
I’m feeling wonderful since my surgery! I had an abscessed tooth and had to have a root canal last week (Woohoo!) but am feeling so much better now all around. I feel like I have my energy back now and am anxious to begin working out again! I seem to have gained 5 pounds while taking it easy the past 3-4 weeks.
Please join me tonight on the Judy Joy Jones online radio show at 9PM EST!
Every day I am healing more and more; feeling more energy and getting back to normal. I thank spirit and my angels who have been helping me! I also want to thank my sweet boys and husband for the beautiful flowers and cards they’ve given me.
Next week I will be ready to do readings again and get back into the swing of things! I’ve been contacted the past two weeks to be a guest on 2 different internet radio shows! One will be in July and the other in August, so check back for actual dates and times so you can call in! It’s amazing how spirit and the universe knows exactly when things should happen; whether you are up to doing something and when you’re not. I’ve also been asked to write an endorsement on a psychic medium’s new book that will be published shortly! It’s such an honor to even be thought of for something so important so I also want to thank my friend Faye Inrig for allowing me to contribute a tiny bit to her new book. Our connection came about so unexpectedly with so many similarities in our “awakening”. Faye lost her brother just a few years ago and she began getting signs and messages from him!
I’m so grateful for my family and friends. Thank you all. xoxox
It’s been about 11 days since my surgery and I’m healing wonderfully! Thank you to all who’ve kept me in your thoughts and prayers. I still get tired fairly easily and it’s hard to do everything that I did each day before my surgery but I guess that’s understandable, yet a bit frustrating too! My hubby has been so sweet helping with so many things because I can’t lift more than 10 pounds. I try to do more than I probably should when he goes to work because it makes me feel so lazy to lay around while he is out working! I’ve already paid for doing too much last week, so I’m trying to remember to take rests and not worry about the house. It’s amazing how our bodies will tell us, “Knock it off and rest so I can do my job or I will force you to rest!”
I’m giving myself another week to rest up before I do readings again, so am scheduling readings starting next week, the week of the 28th. Feel free to contact me if you’d like to schedule a psychic or medium reading.
This weekend is special to our family since my husband is retired military and both of our sons are active duty Air Force. Thank you to all who are serving our country bravely! Please everyone drive safely, have a great time this weekend and enjoy the wonderful warm weather!
Summer is almost here! I love this part of the year when it is warm, but not yet in the high 90′s and humid! It feels wonderful and gives me so much more energy!
Again, be safe, enjoy your family and friends and all the yummy food!
